Membership and price

What do I get?

Full access to 13 training plans, including the 12-week home plan and plans for swimming, cycling, cardio and sports, plus a new programme each month. You also get the workout log with personal bests, next-time suggestions and a rest timer, 225 recipes with allergen information, four meal plans and eight world-inspired meal weeks with shopping lists, monthly challenges and a progress tracker with streaks, a calendar and a weekly muscle map. There are no adverts and no extra paywalls inside: everything is included, whether you pay monthly or yearly. We add new content during the year.

How much does it cost?

You can pay £9.99 a month on a 12-month plan or £79 a year. The monthly plan is 12 monthly payments (£119.88 in total), then it carries on month to month until you switch it off in Account. Paying yearly is £40.88 cheaper over 12 months. Both give exactly the same membership.

Are all taxes included?

Yes. £9.99 a month and £79 a year are the full prices, all taxes included. £79 a year works out at about 22p a day.

Does it renew automatically?

Yearly: yes, at £79 a year. You can switch off automatic renewal for the next year at any time in your online account (Account), and you keep access until the end of the 12 months you’ve paid for. Before each renewal, our payment provider emails you a reminder with the date and the amount. Monthly: it’s a 12-month contract. From month 13 it carries on monthly at £9.99 until you switch it off in Account, and stops at the end of that month. We also email you before the minimum term ends.

Can I stop the monthly plan early?

The monthly plan is a 12-month contract, so the payments for the full 12 months are payable. You keep full access for the 12 months. The limited exceptions are in section 5A of our Terms. From month 13 it carries on monthly until you switch it off in Account, and stops at the end of that month.

Can I cancel and get a refund?

Because access starts straight away, you lose the 14-day right to cancel once you’re in, on both the monthly plan and the yearly membership. Your rights if the content is faulty aren’t affected. The details are in cancellation and refunds.

How do I pay?

By card, at a secure online checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe, and Link, LLC (part of Stripe) is the merchant of record. We never see or store your full card details.

Training

Do I need a gym?

No. The 12-week home plan has a bodyweight-only track and a dumbbells or band track, with no jumping. Several other plans also work at home, and you can switch most gym exercises to a home version.

I’m a complete beginner. Where do I start?

Beginner Reset, the 12-week home plan and Mobility + Core are designed as starting points, and every exercise has an easier version. After you join, five quick questions suggest a plan, a short “New to the gym?” checklist on your Today page walks you through the first steps, and sessions show an easier option you can swap to in one tap. You can read your first day at the gym before you join.

How long are the sessions?

It depends on the plan: about 60 to 75 minutes for each training session, including a warm-up, the main exercises, core work and a cool-down or cardio finisher; recovery days are shorter. Home plan sessions take about 60 minutes, three times a week, with an optional quiet cardio circuit. Every plan has Sunday as its rest day, and you can swap days around in the app.

What is the monthly programme?

A four-week block that changes each month, so there’s always something new to follow. Your workout log and personal bests carry over from one month to the next.

Can I see how an exercise is done before I join?

Yes. The exercise library is free to read. Each exercise is explained step by step, with the muscles worked and the most common mistakes.

Food

Are the recipes labelled for allergens?

Every recipe shows which of the 14 major allergens its ingredients contain, based on the ingredients listed. Always check the labels on the products you buy, because brands differ. You can also filter recipes by vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free or no gluten-containing ingredients.

Do you count calories for me?

Recipes show estimated calories and protein per serving to help you plan. They are estimates, not a personalised diet. If you have a medical condition or a history of eating disorders, please speak to your GP or a registered dietitian first.

Are there shopping lists?

Yes. The meal plans and meal weeks come with a shopping list you can tick off on your phone.

Using Fit Fit City

Is there an app?

Fit Fit City runs in your web browser on a phone, tablet or computer, so you don’t need an app store. On a phone you can add it to your home screen, and it then opens like an app.

What happens if I lose signal in the gym?

Sets you log, in a session or in today’s log, are saved on your phone and sync automatically when you’re back online. The top of the screen shows “Saved on this phone, syncing…” until they’re sent.

Can I take my data with me?

Yes. Under Account you can download all your data at any time (JSON and spreadsheet files), export your workout history as a CSV file, and delete your account. How we handle your data is set out in our privacy notice.

Can you help me find a gym?

Yes. Our free gym finder shows gyms near a UK postcode or town using OpenStreetMap, with an Open now or Closed badge where opening hours are listed. Our guide to choosing a gym covers what to check before you sign up.

Free weeks and gifts

Do you offer a free week?

Not as standard. Now and then we offer a small number of free weeks through a pop-up on the homepage. When they’re gone, they’re gone. A free week needs no card, doesn’t renew and simply ends after seven days.

What happens after a free week?

Your access ends, and nothing is charged. If you’d like to carry on, you can join for £49 for your first year, then £79 a year. Switch off renewal any time. The offer can be used once per account. Or you can pay £9.99 a month on a 12-month plan; the first-year price is for the yearly membership only. If you claimed your free week while we were showing a £39.50 first-year offer, you keep £39.50.

Can I give a membership as a gift?

Yes. A gift is a one-off £79 payment for 12 months that doesn’t renew. The code appears on screen straight away for you to pass on. See gift membership.
