Hinges, bridges and glutes
Seated leg curl
Muscles worked: Hamstrings

How to do it
- Set up. Sit on the machine with your knees lined up with the pivot point. Lower the thigh pad so it holds your legs in place, with the lower pad behind your ankles.
- Move. Bend your knees to pull the pad down and back as far as is comfortable, keeping your back against the seat.
- Finish. Let your legs straighten slowly back to the start, controlling the weight all the way.
Common mistakes
- Leaving the thigh pad loose, so you slide about.
- Using momentum to get the weight moving.
- Only bending your knees part of the way.
