Squats, lunges and legs
Cossack squat to range
Muscles worked: Inner thighs · glutes · quads

How to do it
- Set up. Stand with your feet wide, toes turned out slightly. Hold on to a support for balance if you need to.
- Move. Shift your weight to one side, bending that knee and sitting your hips back while the other leg stays straight with the toes up. Only go as low as you can control.
- Finish. Push back up to the middle and repeat on the other side. Keep your heel down and your knee in line with your toes.
Common mistakes
- Forcing yourself lower than your hips will let you go.
- Lifting the heel of the bent leg.
- Rounding your back to get lower.
